APP TERMS & CONDITIONS

PLANET CENTER PARCS


1. SUBJECT:

The “PLANET CENTER PARCS” mobile app is developed by PV-CP DISTRIBUTION and CENTER PARCS EUROPE NV (hereafter, the “App”).


The App enables all direct customers (excluding customers who booked their holiday through Tour Operators, travel agents, or their employer, and excluding owners) of the Center Parcs brand to:



Direct customer” means: any physical or legal individual that has booked a holiday at Center Parcs (through the website www.centerparcs.com/gb-en, directly at a Center Parcs Village, or with the reservations centre).


The app can be downloaded for free by adults aged over 18 living in France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland or The Netherlands from the App Store or Google Play.


Any customer using the App’s features acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions


2. ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS MUST BE MET TO GET SPECIAL OFFERS VIA THE APP:

- To have downloaded the App

- To be staying in one of the Group’s “Center Parcs” Villages

- To have booked the holiday via the www.centerparcs.com/gb-en website, through our call centre, or a dedicated website

- To have created a personal “MY CENTER PARCS” account at https://my.centerparcs.com


3. UNLOCKING SPECIAL OFFERS:

Each customer will be awarded a certain number of points upon arrival at the village, calculated using the value of their accommodation, length of stay, and supplementary services purchased when booking the holiday. The customer can earn more points throughout their stay by purchasing services in the Village.


These are collected towards levels that unlock special offers, which take the form of digital discount vouchers in the App, found in the “MY PLANET ADVANTAGES” section.


There are four different levels: the higher the level, the better the reward. Points are awarded using the following algorithm, and updated the day after the purchases are made in the Village:


Number of points = cost of accommodation (€ inc. tax)/10 + 2.5 x pre-booked services (€ inc. tax) + 10 x number of nights booked + 5 x amount spent on services at the Village (activities and services, excluding Spa and catering) (€ inc. tax)


Below are the level thresholds:


50 points < Level 0

50+ points Level 1

200+ points Level 2

450+ points Level 3

900+ points Level 4


You also earn points by using the discount vouchers, but points are deducted for cancelling activities!

If the customer earns enough points to unlock the next level, then the vouchers for the lower level are lost.


On the day the holiday ends, all points are wiped. This means that they cannot be used on a later holiday or transferred to someone else.


4. TYPES OF REWARDS

The App grants rewards depending on the customer’s points level and destination.


The customer, the user of the App, can earn:

For Level 0: 30% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of leisure activities available at the Village.


For Level 1: 40% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of leisure activities available at the Village.


For Level 2: 50% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of leisure activities available at the Village.


For Level 3: 60% off an activity of their choice, from a selection of four leisure activities available at the Village.


The Village chooses the selection of activities in advance, and this may vary between Villages.


5. REDEEMING SPECIAL OFFERS:

The rewards earned with the App, in the shape of digital discount vouchers, are valid exclusively for the duration of the holiday and are redeemed by showing the voucher to Village staff when booking an activity.


To use the voucher, select the “MY PLANET ADVANTAGES” section of the App, click on the voucher, and select your chosen activity from the list. A voucher stating the selected activity, expiry date, and unique code will then be created. Show your digital voucher to Village staff when booking your chosen activity to get the discount.


Special offers are non-cumulative and cannot be saved for later. All unused vouchers will be lost (no cancellations, not recyclable). All unused vouchers will be lost at the end of the holiday. Vouchers cannot be saved for a later holiday or transferred to someone else.


6. GENERAL TERMS OF SALE FOR RELATED SERVICES


The App also enables you to add one or more Related Service(s) to your initial reservation. As such, you can complete your stay with ease by reserving supplementary services right up until the day before arrival.


6.1. BOOKING / PAYMENT. The booking of Related Services implies that you have already reserved your cottage. Once logged in, you will be able to add one or more Related Service(s) to your accommodation by clicking on “Extras and Services” in the main menu or on the homepage.

Once in “Extras and Services”, you can browse three separate tabs entitled “Extras”, “Services” and “Choice” to consult or book your chosen Related Services.


How to book a Related Service prior to your stay:

  1. Click on the desired service

  2. Complete the required information (quantity)

  3. Add to basket

  4. Choose “Continue shopping” or “Confirm order”

  5. Once your order has been finalised, select your method of payment

  6. Add your payment details

  7. Confirm the payment and accept the current Terms & Conditions

  8. Once the payment has been confirmed, a pop-up will acknowledge receipt

You can book Related Services using the App right up until the day before arrival. Any payment required by the addition of one or more Related Service(s) will be requested at the time of booking.


Methods of payment: bookings made via the App can be paid for using a bank card or PAYPAL.


6.2. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Once payment for the Related Services has been confirmed, CENTER PARCS will send you an email confirming the modification of your initial booking. CENTER PARCS is definitively committed to providing these Services as soon as you receive this booking confirmation email.


Changes made to your initial booking are also visible in the “My Stay” section of the App, which is accessible from the main menu and the MY CENTER PARCS section when logged in.


6.3. PRICES

Prices charged for Related Services are based on economic data available at the time they are set. Changes in applicable regulations may imply price modifications for the aforementioned services.


6.4. MODIFICATIONS / CANCELLATIONS

Modifications and cancellations are not possible via the App. Any such requests must be submitted to our reservation centre on +33 (0)891 701 600 (€0.25 incl. VAT per min).


The modification and cancellation terms applicable to any Related Service booked through the App are identical to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) applicable at the time the initial booking was made. The GTCS were made available to you and were accepted by you when you made your initial booking. They are available for consultation at any time on the CENTER PARCS website: http://www.centerparcs.fr/fr-fr/cgv-cp_ms


While it is not our intention to reproduce the GTCS herein (already accepted during initial booking phase), we wish to highlight the following points:


7. DATA PROTECTION ACT

The information collected when you use the App will be used by PV-CP DISTRIBUTION and CENTER PARCS EUROPE NV, acting as data processing managers, and their commercial and contractual partners. This data ensures you benefit from all the advantages linked to the use of the App and/or to manage your booking. They will be added to the Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group database and used to send you information about the Group's products and services.


The following are considered to be Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group brands: Pierre & Vacances, Maeva, Aparthotel Adagio, Aparthotel Adagio access, Center Parcs, Sunparks, Pierre & Vacances Conseil Immobilier, Les Senioriales and Villages Nature.


In line with legal provisions on Data Protection (Directive 2005/56/EC of 26 October 2005), you have the right to access, amend, and contest your personal data by sending an email to the following address: relation.client@fr.groupepvcp.com

8. COPYRIGHT

All content featured in the App is protected by copyright, trade mark, and database rights, all property of CENTER PARCS. CENTER PARCS’ prior consent must be secured for any use of App content, other than for family purposes.


These Terms & Conditions do not grant any licence to use CENTER PARCS brands, logos, or images.


9. LIMITED LIABILITY AND WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

We will take special care to ensure the accuracy of information communicated via the App, which will be regularly updated. However, inaccurate information or omissions may occur, in particular due to typos and formatting errors. If you notice any errors you are welcome to let us know so that we can make any necessary corrections.


We reserve the right to change any part of the App, as well as these Terms & Conditions.


We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the App, nor that it will be completely free from errors. Service may be interrupted during maintenance and repair work, or following IT problems, disrupted internet services, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Likewise, we cannot be held responsible for delays, problems using the App, or any incompatibility between the App and your mobile.


We cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damage caused by a third party infecting the App with a virus that may infect your mobile device when you connect to the App. Likewise, we cannot be held responsible for any material or accessory damage (including, but not limited to, technical failure, sharing of confidential documents, loss of data), nor any other indirect damage, occurring when using or in relation to use of the App.


10. COOKIES

When you use the App, a permanent “cookie” (small text file) will be sent to you and stored in your mobile device’s memory. The cookie is used to identify you when you access the App, making it easier to use and customising your visit.


We also collect technical information about your mobile every time that you log in to the App. This information includes your IP address, operating system used, type of browser, and source website address, if there is one. We collect this information to improve the quality of your user experience when you visit our website, and we will not sell or transfer this information to third parties.


We use GOOGLE ANALYTICS, an online audience analysis tool, that provides data and tracking services on what customers are doing on our App. When you use the App, we use cookies to track and collect anonymised information about your search activity. GOOGLE ANALYTICS helps us to improve your online experience and make our tools easier to use. It is never used to collect personal information about you, and is never linked to your user profile.


Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can delete them or refuse to accept them. As no two browsers are the same, you should check the HELP section of your browser for information on how to change your cookie preferences. The App behaves in the same way and all features can still be used.
